Resto-Reso ("we", "us") operates the website restoreso.ca. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.
What we collect
We only collect personal information you choose to give us:
- Contact form. When you submit our contact form, we receive the details you enter — your name, restaurant name, email address, phone number, the platforms you currently use, and your message.
- Demo bookings. When you book a demo, scheduling is handled through Google Calendar's appointment booking page, which collects your name, email address and the time you choose.
- Technical logs. Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information about visits (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) in server logs used for security and operations.
This website does not set its own cookies, does not run advertising or tracking pixels, and does not use analytics services.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide information you requested about Resto-Reso.
- To schedule and hold your demo.
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers we rely on
- Formspree — processes contact-form submissions and forwards them to our inbox.
- Google — provides the Calendar appointment page used for demo bookings, and serves the web fonts used on this site (loading a font sends your IP address to Google).
- Our website host — serves these pages and keeps standard server logs.
These providers may store information on servers outside Canada (including in the United States), where it is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.
Retention
We keep inquiry and demo-booking information only as long as needed to follow up with you and maintain our business records, then delete it.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to our use of it. Email us at info@restoreso.ca and we will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
The Resto-Reso service
This policy covers the restoreso.ca website only. Personal information handled by the Resto-Reso service itself — such as phone orders, reservations and SMS confirmations processed for restaurants that use our platform — is governed by our agreements with those restaurant customers.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles personal information, we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
